Hey guys. Do you guys have a favorite sibling? If you do, comment, and write a little bit about them. Here is mine: Sister: Navjit: Super fun, a room 14er, sarcastic, funny, and responsible. Here is another: Brother: Armanjit: Mario fanatic, super soft and nice, funny, and loves to play. Hope you do comment! :)

Science Lab

Today in science lab, we learned about plastics in life. So many things are made out of plastic where we don't even expect it. Toothpaste, carpets, candles, clothes, and hair spray all have plastic in them. (There are very many other things that have plastic in them, but there are too many.) We had to list how many plastic things we use in one day within five minutes. Many people got up to 40, but weren't through the whole day yet. Now I really understand why my grandparents say that things were sometimes better than now.

Computer Lab

All of the room 14 students had a fun time in computer lab, without even knowing that they were using a form of learning. With the help, again, from the British Bitesize website, also known as the BBC, the 14ers learned not just about math, like last week, but they learned about ELA skills, as well as science skills. There were games that showed how much sun, heat, and water to give plants, and games about soundwaves, by using an online guitar. Games also played had to do with writing, and all the key terms of parts of speech, as well as games on how to organize reports. In conclusion, the 6th grade students from room 14 gained a lot of knowledge at the "lab of computers" today.

Tech Lab

In computer lab, room 14ers got to once again prepare for the CSTs. We played games, with the help of our British friends in Bitesize Maths, that prep us in things, such as, angle measurements, 2d shapes, 3d shapes, and many others. The games teach the lesson, and we take a quiz and see if we understand the skill or not. These skills can be applied in life if we are architects that are planning a blueprint using 2d shapes, and building it can be helped by knowing 3d shapes. The math CSTs won't be as hard, since we reviewed many skills in computer lab for the upcoming exam.

Selena Gomez Rocks!!

I love Selena Gomez! She's my favorite actress and singer, and she's really awesome and kind to all the people in the world too. We also have the same initials, S.G. and S.G.! :) Heres an animoto on her. I matched with PRA, the weirdest match for the video! http://animoto.com/play/HPBRTmQF0VOdUbiP611rXw

WHAT IN THE NAME OF FLYIN FLADOODLES???!!!!

Hey guys! Alli and I were at Science Olympiad today. We didn't get any medals for 2/3 of our events. We were waiting and getting so excited hoping we would win our last event, Animal or Vegetable or Mineral. But then, the anouncer ended the award ceremony without calling the event! He said that he would anounce it later on that day, and Alli and I were like 'Nobody is going to be here!' Then he left. We were furious, along with other kids, we imagined. It hurt us so much. WE DO NOT LIKE THOSE GUYS!!!!! They are super horrible. It's not fair. Can you guys believe it?

Computer Lab

Today in computer lab, the room 14ers picked up a lot of information. We used the British Bitesize Math website to prepare for the CST. We played games that taught the lesson on the central measures of tendency, probability, and frequency diagrams, and afterwards, we took a test to see if we understood the lesson or not. If we missed one, we would have to start over the lesson, but if we didn't miss any, we got to move on to the next topic. With the help of Bitsize Math, the room 14ers got to learn some new subjects, and prepare for the CST.
