The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, is a dystopian novel about the city, The Capitol, in Panem, that chooses 2 tributes from their 12 districts to compete in the Hunger Games, a fight to the death for pure entertainment. Katniss Everdeen risked her life to compete in the games so her little sister wouldn't have to go. Katniss, and a boy named Peeta Mellark, are to compete in the games. They fight, shoot, kill, and do whatever to keep themselves alive. Will they survive the dark and cruel games, or will they die like the other tributes do? Only one can win. Katniss Everdeen is a most brave and clever 16-year-old girl.
